Amazing tortas ahogadas, I got to jalisco twice a year and I haven't had a torta ahogada in the US that taste as similar as they do in Guadalajara as these. Great taste, great service, great people. Setting is very calm and easy to enjoy your food. Espero venir pronto
Wow. This will be the go-to whenever I head through Bakersfield. Rich, fiery flavors , fresh ingredients. The combination was recommended to me, and I second the recommendation.
Tortas just like in Guadalajara, Jalisco. For desert you must try their Jericayas. I personally recommend the combination plates with the fried potato tacos.
I liked the pricing and the food was bomb10/10. I got the 3 tacos de papas and the fries are fresh actual potatoes. we also got the agua fresca and it was refreshing. theres lots of tables so that's convenient. I'll come again and you should try it if your craving Mexican food.
Amazing experience with the Torta Ahogada that totally hit the spot for our craving for tacos and their adjuncts. This place has a great variety of choices, and I'm glad we braved the modest parking lot and trailer, which to its credit did include shade from the sun. The service was excellent, and our host was glad to share about each dish especially since I'm not always familiar with the Jaliscience-Michoacán terminology. I will definitely look forward to visiting again and trying some of their other options.
We were driving through Bakersfield and wanted to eat some Mexican food. We yelped a few places but decided we would try Loncheria Otro Rollo because it was a quick off and on the highway. What great fortune!!! The combination was delicious. Two awesome potato tacos with a half of a Carnitas torta kept me full all day. The horchata was even better than delicious and my girlfriend was able to get unsweetened jamaica... the ladies running the stand were super sweet and you could taste their love in the food. It was so good we stopped back by on the way back from our trip. I had the combination and the horchata again and my lady switched it up with a carne asada taco, a carnitas taco and more unsweetened jamaica. Everything was delicious as before. If you are traveling through Bakersfield and looking for a quick and delicious meal, you can't go wrong at Loncheria Otro Rollo. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants great Mexican street food.
